Banana Exposure Increases Cancer Rates. Dole Food Company faces massive legal cases in US courts by plantation workers being poisoned on plantations. Third world countries like Mexico and Costa Rico stand up to abuse and here is a trailer on the film called Bananas. Unfortunately Canadians eat Dole bananas and are exposed to these cancer causing agents daily. Our children eat these bananas. Soil contamination in a banana production region in Mexico. Bananas are grown both organically and otherwise in the same regions. Then if they are grown organically the shippers must use pesticides. Imgaine getting your organic bannans home and there is rat droppings or a spider crawls out. All fresh foods are heavily sprayed if they are shipped any significant distance. This is why it is best to eat in-season and locally-grown rather than organic form the distance.
