Coriander is a Greek word and in Spanish it is Cilantro.  It is also known as Chinese Parsely.  The leaves are often used in cooking throughout most of the world near to the equator as it grows there.  See Wikipedia - Coriander.

Like niacin it will lower the Bad LDL Cholesterol and triglycerides while at the same time increase the good HDL cholesterol.

A mixture of tumeric and coriander is used to treat acne.
