Label law fails to identify country of origin

E-mail

Most label laws are obsolete and in need of being re-written.  The new versions are failing by not being useful for content or nutritional value.  The percent protein does not state the quality or type of protein, the processing of protein, or the source of the protein.  Then the sodium is listed but is this sodium-chloride or sodium-glutamate (MSG).  The label law does not state if wheat glutin is present and yet a significant problem for any ciliac person who are forced to read labels.  Should the new label law not consider those who have to read all labels before eating?  Who are the new laws to help?  They are promoting these new laws as consummer safety but are in fact protecting the factory farming and genetically modified organisms (GMO).
